Gospel Music is Owen Holmes of the indie-dance outfit, Black Kids, and friends but instead of upbeat, lighthearted dance tunes, this project plays indie rock in the more classic style a la Magnetic Fields, Silver Jews and the like. GM's debut album How to Get to Heaven From Jacksonville, FL was released on Kill Rock Stars and the video for "This Town Doesn't Have Enough Bars," was featured on Pitchfork.
Joining them are Opiate Eyes, Jacksonville's most prolific and one of her most talented groups to form over the past few years and Personnes, some of the hottest up-and-coming young talent we've seen in years.
